Description
To assist the delivery driver deliver and rotate product and collect required payment while providing a “best in class” customer service level and developing outstanding customer relationships in assigned market. Complete proper paperwork for each account and reconcile at end of day. Responsible for the daily pre-trip inspection of vehicle, as well as adherence to all Safety policies and procedures. Develop and maintain solid interdepartmental relationships, including effective and consistent communication. Build the business at every opportunity and continually support and embrace the Crescent Crown Vision.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred;
- Highly professional, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail;
- Displays a high level of energy and a demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team;
- Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and practice ethical conduct;
- Reports to work on a regular basis;
- Extended hours may be required as service needs dictate;
- Promotes and observes safety and security procedures, uses equipment and materials properly;
- Able to work under stress;
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive a truck to deliver product;
- Able to regularly lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally push / pull up to 240 lbs.;
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, walk and occasionally climb when unloading trucks for delivery;
- Able to maneuver a dolly effectively.
