HOW YO WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMPANY
The Total Wine Merchandiser is responsible for a group of stores assigned to their team and must ensure that customers’ needs are met on a daily basis. This includes filling shelves, rotating stock, building displays, and keeping coolers organized. This position requires interaction with store personnel. The responsibility of this position is managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence. You must take the work seriously, have a strong sense of duty, and be quite disciplined. You will be given clearly defined work, responsibilities, and reporting relationships, ongoing and thorough training opportunities to develop a high level of expertise and increase your confidence. The position is task oriented, requiring you to be conservative, careful, and cautious in your approach to work.
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Down stack newly delivered pallets of beer onto U-boat carts provided by Total Wine, organize back stock and cooler, refill the shelves and rotate, front face product labels, build and refresh displays, place point of sale (POS) throughout the store when needed and organize and maintain top stock of our brands.
- Obtain feedback from accounts on effectiveness of back store organization and cooler organization.
- Correct delivery discrepancies and / or repack and damaged product.
- Continue developing knowledge of industry and represented brands.
