Reports To: Golf Course Superintendent
Position Type: Full Time and Part Time Seasonal Position goes from March - October
Please read below the mandatory qualifications for these positions:
- Must be able to work the following Shifts: Monday - Friday 5:30am - 2pm
- Must be available to work every other Saturday and Sunday.
- Age requirement: 21
- Must have a clear MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) in order to be considered for this position
Key Accountabilities: The Greenskeeper is responsible for supporting the Superintendent in all aspects of maintaining the golf course and associated areas. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn new skills and will take pride in their contribution to the high quality of the Golf Course Grounds. They shall provide a welcoming experience for all members, guests, and associates.
Essential Requirements-(Included but not limited too)
- Clean and remove all trash on golf course, hotel, and rest shelters
- Operate equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmer and other landscaping equipment. Must be able to operate machines in a professional manner.
-Maintain Bunkers- i.e. pull weeds, raking, edging
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Other tasks related to Golf Course Maintenance
- Able to work early morning shifts and weekends
- Watering and care of flowers on course and hotel
This is a great opportunity to work outside and learning the inner workings of a Championship Golf Course. Previous grounds experience is a plus but not required , we will train.
Pay Range: $19.00-$20.00 Per Hour Based On Experience
