For some, traveling and being away is fun; however, many travelers miss being home. Our Housekeeping team makes our hotels feel like home. As a Housekeeping Houseperson, your contribution helps ensure guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Here is what you will be doing each day:
You would be responsible for responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
1. Stock linen and supplies for room attendants; taking supplies directly to room attendants.
2. Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
3. Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
4. Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
5. Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
6. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
7. Strip rooms as needed/cross train in other roles within HSK
8. Handle all guest requests for supplies.
9. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
