Description

The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is looking for a FT - Security Office Administrator to join our amazing Security Team!

** Hours: AM Shifts - Monday - Friday including holidays **

The Security Office Administrator is responsible for ensuring the security and safekeeping of all master, suite and office keys, as well as managing the distribution of new keys as needed. This role also oversees the receipt, logging, and distribution of incoming parcels and letters, coordinates outgoing shipments, and collects any applicable fees. Additionally, the Security Office Administrator is responsible for monitoring and disbursing lost and found items, assisting with staff lunch programs, including related administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate security reports in the system database.

Assist the Security Manager and team with various aspects of security operations, ensuring all tasks are carried out in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner to maintain an exceptional level of guest satisfaction.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Knowledge of local area and transportation systems helpful. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Participate in company events. Clean office and exterior receiving area to include storage bins. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Basic mathematical skills and considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. Ability to stand, walk and continuously perform behind the Security Desk. Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs. Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and prepare complex reports of room availability and revenues generated. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons.

Safety & Security:

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
