Required Skills & Abilities:
-Able to perform repetitive motions; bending, stooping, kneeling, stretching, reaching
-Ability to lift, carry, push and pull at least 50 pounds
-Able to stand on feet for at least eight (8) hours
-Flexible availability to work any shift/day, including holidays and weekends
-Ability to communicate in English, bilingual is a plus
-Previous customer service experience to engage with guests
Job Description:
-Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.
-Unload soiled linen from rooms and carts then transport to laundry area
-Unload trash from housekeeping carts and dispose of refuse
-Process guest request calls in a friendly and timely manner.
-Perform deep clean projects for corridors, guest rooms and back of house.
-Report needed repairs
-Process trash from service landings and trash room to loading dock dumpster.
-Vacuum, sweep, mop hallways, stairwells and service elevator landings
-Clean windows and mirrors in the hotel
