ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for overseeing front desk duties during the night shift including check-in and check out, reviewing guest payments and other details from the day shift to ensure guests provided payment for their stay or any additional requests and acting as a point of communication for customer needs.
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
- Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information.
- Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures.
- Audit and reconcile all revenue postings.
- You will reconcile arrivals and departures while processing financial transactions to ensure payment is received.
- You will resolve guest concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- You will be well-versed in emergency procedures and act as the manager on duty alongside overnight security.
- Balance rooms daily.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a hotel night auditor is required.
- Must have the ability to communicate in English.
- Marriott brand, service, and systems knowledge is highly preferred.
