Responsibilities
The Hilton Columbus/Polaris, located in the vibrant Polaris community, is currently seeking a Full Time, 1st and 2nd shift Laundry Attendant for our 254 Room AAA Four Diamond property with over 15,000 square feet of meeting/event space. As a Laundry Attendant, you would be responsible for using and operating our washing, drying and folding machines to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation for our guests. You would also be responsible for delivering guest items to rooms, such as pillows, towels, etc. and maintain a high level of cleanliness in the public areas of the hotel. This position is Full Time and the hours are for 1st and 2nd shift (7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm). Essential Job Functions would include:

- Operate washing and drying equipment, load and unload laundry from machines. Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications.
- Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor.
- Set the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen.
- Clean up machines and surrounding areas.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
