ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Be the first point of contact for the sales and marketing department, filter calls, coordinate daily tasks and functions of the department and take direction from leadership.
- Coordinate with sales, front office, and other hotel departments as necessary to ensure optimal flow and guest service for clients.
- Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
- Access and input data into computer systems.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- A minimum of one year of experience in Sales in the hotel industry is required.
- Marriott brand knowledge is highly preferred.
