Crescent Ridge Veterinary Hospital is a private, veterinarian owned, AAHA certified, full-service practice in Zelienople, Pennsylvania that is looking to grow. We put a strong emphasis on Fear Free practices, and the majority of our staff are individually certified. Fear Free practices are implemented throughout the clinic. Our goal is to provide high quality and compassionate veterinary care for dogs and cats in Zelienople, and the surrounding communities. Our modern and inviting hospital boasts superb veterinarians and caring support staff that are dedicated to our patients, clients, and our surrounding community.

Our staff includes 1 full-time doctor, the owner, Dr. Stephanie Clauss, VMD. Dr. Christine Koch, DVM has recently joined the team as a part time Associate Veterinarian. Support staff includes 4 full-time technicians, 4 part-time technicians, and Chelsea, the office manager, who has over 12 years of technician experience as well. We strive to have a ratio of at least 3 technicians per veterinarian per shift.

We aim to provide individualized growth opportunities to all of our staff from veterinarians to technician assistants. We also strive to make the office an enjoyable place to do what we love doing. Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role at Crescent Ridge Veterinary Hospital. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing exceptional medical and surgical care to patients, conducting physical exams, and developing treatment plans. The Associate Veterinarian will also be responsible for excellent client communication and education, and consultation with other members of the veterinary team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment with experienced professionals, however, the Associate Veterinarian must be able to manage daily caseloads without direct supervision.

Duties

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to pets and clients
• Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to create and implement tailored treatment plans
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of care
• Communicate effectively with pet owners, educating them on the best care practices
• Maintain the AAHA standards for Veterinary annual continuing education requirements – 50 hours per year in the field of veterinary medicine

Qualification

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited university
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
• Experience in companion animal medicine and surgery
• Proficiency in performing general surgical procedures        
• Strong medical skills. Strong surgical and dental skills are desirable
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other members of the veterinary team
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients, clients, and co-workers 

Salary - $100,000 plus production and competitive benefits
