Quality Control

Position Overview: Knitting/Seaming Quality Specialist monitors knitting/seaming production for quality problems and supports the knitting/seaming operation through daily testing and continuous inspection of sock production. Must also have operating knowledge of various dyeing equipment used in the testing process.

· Perform a daily quality and sizing test on each product per knitting machine in production.

· Conduct a daily inspection of all knitting and seaming operators.

· Responsible for processing and preparation of newly developed sock product.

· Continuously monitor multiple knitting and seaming machines to ensure quality production.

· Inspect and approve style changes on knitting machines.

· Operating knowledge of various dyeing equipment essential in the quality testing process.

· Work with other departments to resolve quality issues.

· Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of surrounding area.

· Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.

· Able to move product weighing as much as 50 pounds.

Requirements:

· Two or more years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably a knitting operation.

· High School diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent amount of industry experience. Some college preferred.

· Proven analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.

· A good command of written and spoken English.

· Clear and effective communication skills.

· Attendance/ Punctuality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $13.20 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
