The Specific Role Where You Can Make a Difference?
We are seeking a full-time Lease Operator for our Salt Creek, Wyoming Location.
The Lease Operator optimizes and maintains oil and gas production and lease expenses. Under general supervision, this position prepares, maintains, and submits daily reports and records of gas and/or liquid volume, well pressure, volume of chemicals used, and develops and applies an understanding of lease issues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Adherence to all safety and environmental protocols. MUST be safety-focused!
- Adjust process parameters (pressure, temperature, ect.) based on operating procedures and product specifications
- Perform scheduled maintenance and minor repairs on valves, pumps, compressors, and instrumentation
- Collaboration with field supervisors, engineers and lease operators to optimize production. MUST be a team player!
- MUST be able to drive and work in unfavorable weather conditions. This position also requires periodic on-call responsibility and may require working holidays and overtime hours.
Qualifications/Experience
- Prior oilfield experience is preferred. Specific experience as a Facility Operator is preferred, however, alternative experience will be considered.
- Mechanical aptitude – the ability to understand how production facilities work, diagnose issues, and perform basic well/equipment maintenance.
- Basic competency in Microsoft applications, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- MUST be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record at all times.
