Job Duties
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, execute, and manage assigned projects in support of plant performance goals.
- Define project goals, objectives, and scope. Creating project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Lead projects related to:
- Chilled water system design and installation
- Pneumatic material convey systems
- New equipment selection, purchase, and installation
- Rebuild and upgrading existing equipment
- Collaborate with team to develop and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems
- Identify and procure necessary materials, equipment, and services for project implementation
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, technical specifications, and reports
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement, and develop actionable solutions
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Willingness to travel to plant locations throughout the US for plant support and project installation
Requirements
To excel as a project engineer at Cresline Plastic Pipe Co., Inc., the following qualifications are desired:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or engineering technology preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes
- Mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to problem solving
- Proficiency in drawing software such as AutoCAD/Inventor
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance
- Attention to detail to ensure company compliance with industry standards and regulations
