What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Service Golf Attendant position at Cress Creek Country Club?
As a member of the outside staff, you are expected to treat each member or guest friendly with respect and a smile. You are the first and last person to interact with these people. Bag room staff is expected to follow our three steps to great service guideline. Greet members with a warm welcome, create a “magic” moment while they are on property and give them a fond farewell as they are leaving Cress Creek property.
Outside Service Duties & Responsibilities:
- Continually provides high levels of service to members and guests
- Removes bags from Bag Storage Room and loads onto golf carts or pull carts.
- Golf carts are properly stocked with scorecards, pencil, towels and full sand bottles.
- Transports and stacks range balls at all times of day.
- Operates range picker on range to retrieve balls.
- Washes all range balls daily.
- Removes bags from carts and returns bags to assigned rack in Bag Storage Room.
- Returns carts to barn; removes dirty towels, old scorecards, used tees, drink cans, etc., from carts and saves reusable items; washes cart with pressure cleaner and refill sand bottles; parks cart in the barn or back in the staging area and connect charger cable.
- Reports carts that are not in proper working order to Golf Professional on duty.
- Performs Cart Barn cleaning responsibilities on a daily basis.
- Details carts as scheduled.
- Greets arriving members and guests, by name if possible, with upbeat good cheer.
- Takes members’ or guests’ clubs out of cars and places them on golf carts.
- Provides information to golfers, such as location of the golf shop, men’s locker room and men’s card room.
- Is knowledgeable about activities and functions, Club hours of operations, course yardage and rating, and other items of interest to members and guests.
- Is continually alert for special needs of members and guests. Attempts to give extraordinary service at all times.
- Is alert for and picks up trash, debris, or cigarette butts wherever they may be found.
