Summary
The person in this position is responsible for maintaining service operations by inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year experience as a body metal technician (preferred).
- Ability to finish jobs in a timely manner.
- Must bring your own tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- I-CAR Training may be required as needed.
- Valid Driver's License.
Automotive Body Technician / Responsibilities:
- Repair vehicle per estimate according to manufacturer's standards.
- Check parts against estimates.
- Prepare vehicle for body and repair work.
- Notify management of any additional repairs or difficulties with the repairs.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in a proper state of repairs.
- Comply with law and regulations pertaining to hazardous waste materials.
