What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser and Food Runner position at Crest Hill Tea Room?
Crest Hill Tea Room is an English style tea room located in the small town of The Plains. We are currently looking for a food runner/service helper candidate. This is a weekend position for Saturdays and some Sundays. Shift will generally run from noon - 4 or 5pm. Perfect for a high school student or someone just look for a part time job. No experience necessary.
Advancement to server/kitchen duties available to the right candidate
Responsibilities:
- Assist kitchen and serving staff in the delivery of food in a timely manner
- Clean and reset tables quickly to ensure customers can be seated upon arrival
- Interact with customers and relay information to servers
- Clean dining room and restrooms
- Wash dishes
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, kitchen staff, and servers
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or containers
