About us

Cresthill Academy is the premiere child care center in New Jersey with programs for infants, toddlers, preschool. We are an organic daycare & preschool with centers in Hoboken, East Hanover, Lyndhurst and Harrison. Our holistic approach to early education and care features a progressive curriculum starting in infancy, music and movement classes, science explorations and more. We are proud to offer an all-organic meal plan for children on table food, freshly prepared by our Cresthill Culinary team.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • An administrative assistant who is passionate about early childhood education.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide strategic support to the Director, grow enrollment, attract and retain teachers, and build strong community relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all state safety, fire, quality programming, educational and staffing regulations as required by NJSDCF licensing and accreditation.
  • Ensure your center meets state licensing and safety standards while incorporating all core Cresthill values (Safety, Courtesy, Education, Efficiency).
  • Motivate, coach and train teachers to deliver creative programs, service excellence and Cresthill core values.
  • Deeply connect with students, colleagues and parents to vigorously uphold a culture of welcome, safety and respect.
  • Invoke a robust learning atmosphere that leads students to deeply value being at school and feel part of a rigorous and joyful learning community.
  • Assist in the classrooms as needed

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Some teaching experience preferred
  • High school degree (CDA, AA or BA preferred)
  • A passion for early childhood education and intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization and operations mindset
  • Strong self-awareness and personal ownership to do the right thing for our schools, staff, children, and families.

Pay: $43,680.00 - $48,880.00 per year
