We are seeking a skilled and compassionate registered dental hygienist to join our team at Creston Dental & Braces, a Benevis company. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering direct dental care and associated services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist. Your primary goal will be to deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the treatment process.
Key responsibilities include delivering direct patient care, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist. You will also provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer same-day care, educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction, assess the dental condition and needs of patients, and review patients' medical history. Additionally, you will be responsible for adhering to all government regulations and company standards, guiding parents and patients through our entire treatment process, assisting with dental and perio charting, taking x-rays and saving into patient charts when necessary, and providing memorable patient experiences by showing compassion for our patients and parents.
To be successful in this role, you must possess current licensure as a dental hygienist in good standing, CPR (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment, and adhere to our company values of teamwork, mutual respect, and cooperation.
