Key Responsibilities
- Product Data Management:
- Create & Maintain Product Records: Input and maintain accurate product data in the ERP system, including descriptions, pricing, vendor details, part numbers, and categories.
- Data Consistency & Integrity: Ensure consistency and accuracy across internal systems and external platforms (e.g., websites or catalogs).
- Data Audits: Perform regular audits to identify and correct errors, update outdated information, and maintain data integrity.
- Support Marketing & E-Commerce Teams: Provide organized and clean product content for marketing or e-commerce initiatives as needed.
- Import & Format Data: Assist with importing and formatting large sets of product data for new product lines or vendors.
- Source Products: Source and purchase industrial tooling products based on demand, inventory levels, and sales trends.
- Manage Purchase Orders: Issue, track, and monitor purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Vendor Communication: Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts and align purchasing with operational needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to align purchasing with business operations.
- ERP System Management: Maintain vendor information and purchasing records within the ERP system.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in purchasing, procurement, inventory, or product data management.
- ERP Experience: Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (Infor CloudSuite preferred).
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industrial tooling products.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (including v-lookups, advanced formulas, etc.).
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Multi-tasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, small team environment.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective vendor management and internal collaboration.
- Customer Focus: Responds promptly to customer needs and follows through on commitments.
- Problem Solving: Analyzes information, identifies issues, and implements solutions.
- Communication: Demonstrates clear and effective verbal and written communication.
