Crestone Partners is recruiting for an Facility Maintenance Technician
Location : Denver, CO
Operate, inspect and maintain building operating systems in assigned facility which includes but is not limited to electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment, and controls. Operating Engineer will focus on maintaining the facilities to achieve the highest standard of tenant comfort and satisfaction. Strong computer skills and attention to customer service are needed for this position.
Job Duties :
- Maintain a positive demeanor while working with tenants and clients.
- Work closely with tenants and respond to all tenant services and requests.
- Maintain open communication with Chief Engineer and Property Manager regarding all building issues and building projects.
- Performance of ongoing preventative and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems, equipment and components.
- Self-perform or coordinate with vendors, co-works and other associates to maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior / exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.
- Respond and complete all work orders and preventative maintenance in accordance with the Building Work Order System.
- Coordinate projects according to the budget, complete PO logs, and submit invoices to Chief Engineer in a timely manner.
- Respond effectively to all building emergencies.
- Study and become familiar with the various items of equipment, and the methods required to use them properly, that are required in everyday activities. This includes building automation systems, fire / life safety systems, and any other building related equipment.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate hazards
- Respond to and report janitorial issues to Property Manager.
- Assist in life safety drills.
- Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
- Arrive on the job at the start of shift with a professional and positive attitude.
- Attend periodic training seminars.
- Availability for emergency on call and available for on-call one weekend out of every 4. Available to answer phone calls as an after-hours resource for co-workers and clients.
- Be aware of building issues and act in a pro-active manner to ensure outstanding client satisfaction.
