Overview

Crestron Electronics has an exciting opportunity for an End User Support, Mobile Device Administrator. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-growing organization. We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional resource to support the Crestron US IT Services Department. The successful candidate will be highly motivated with a good technical support background, great communication and customer service skills, be a quick learner, and have the ability to multi-task and solve computing or communications issues in a firm that cultivates a close-knit and collaborative corporate culture.

Responsibilities

End User Support

  • Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to end-users.
  • Incident Management: Handle complex incidents, escalate issues to higher-level support or external vendors as necessary, and ensure thorough documentation and follow-up.
  • Training: Develop and deliver training programs for technicians and administrators on new technologies, software applications, and best practices to enhance their IT proficiency.
  • System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades on IT systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their IT needs proactively.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and contributing to shared goals.
  • Adaptability: Exhibit the ability to adapt to changing technologies, processes, and work environments, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Show proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and various IT support tools and software.

Mobile Device Management

  • Configuration and Deployment: Configure, deploy, and monitor mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows) to meet organizational standards.
  • Security Compliance: Implement security policies and ensure compliance with mobile device management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide first-level troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues, minimizing downtime.
  • System Updates: Install and update operating systems and applications on mobile devices.
  • User Education: Educate users on device usage and maintain records of configurations and policies.
  • Data Management: Manage mobile data for traveling employees.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee mobile device lifecycle management, including end-of-life processes.
  • Transition Support: Provide support for device transitions.
  • Reporting: Create mobile device reports as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Engineering or other related area
  • Minimum 3 years working in a Service Desk environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and performs a variety of concurrent tasks
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of deployment, configuration and troubleshooting of workstation hardware and software
  • ITIL knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Per applicable state requirements, the annual pay range for this position ($59,500 - $85,000) which consists of base salary (subject to performance), reflects the hiring range for candidates. Also note, an individual’s offer may vary from this range as it may be impacted by additional factors, including but not limited to the candidate's hiring location, qualifications, experience, and market factors.
