Job Description
The Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department in a hotel. They ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained, and that all housekeeping staff are properly trained and supervised.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff
- Assign and inspect cleaning duties for guest rooms and public areas
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stocked and maintained
- Respond to guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities and expenses
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping
- Previous Marriott and FSPMS preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
