Hotel Maintenance Engineer
Job Description:
The Hotel Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all aspects of the hotel's physical plant, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and
mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and repair, as well as experience working in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing filters and lubricating equipment
- Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to guests
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in building maintenance and repair
- Experience working in a hotel or similar hospitality environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
