We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team and ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
Job Summary:
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and public areas. This position ensures high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness, contributing to a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replace linens, towels, and other room amenities as needed.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and minibar items.
- Inspect rooms for damage and report maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
- Ensure all rooms are completed within the allotted timeframe and meet the hotel’s quality standards.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including the use of proper personal protective equipment.
- Handle guest requests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints or concerns and report any unresolved issues to management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to support overall hotel operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a room attendant or in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 30 lbs, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
