Columbia Sussex is a hotel developer, owner / operator with over 50 years' experience developing and managing properties throughout the US and Caribbean. We are currently searching for a Traveling Construction Superintendent to manage hotel renovation and construction throughout the country. Columbia Sussex will manage the complete project as design-build; we will contract all consultants and contractors. As a Traveling Superintendent at Columbia Sussex, you will oversee the daily operations on construction project sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate and supervise all construction activities from start to finish.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years' experience supervising commercial construction. Preferable experience in the hospitality construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• Ability to understand construction drawings.
• Ability to work independently from management with a computer and smart phone.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Email. MS Project, MS Teams and Bluebeam knowledge a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.

90,000-$100,000 per year
