Traveling Construction Superintendent
Columbia Sussex, a seasoned hotel developer and owner/operator with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee hotel renovation and construction projects nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct all construction activities on the project.
- Create a comprehensive construction schedule and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain a safe work site by implementing company and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to building requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and construction crews, ensuring clear communication and professional conduct.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience supervising commercial construction, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
- Able to understand construction drawings and work independently from management.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
