Job Title: Primary Therapist

Direct Supervisor: Clinical Director

Job Summary: This is a clinical position providing group and individual counseling for clients of Crestview Recovery. This position requires a knowledge and experience in mental health, addiction and crisis intervention. The therapist will follow clients' clinical progress from admittance, treatment planning and discharge, in collaboration with the Clinical Director, Case Managers, medical staff and clinical team. Therapist will demonstrate the ability to make a diagnosis, develop treatment/service plans, discharge planning, facilitate groups and individual sessions and problem solve issues implementing ethical protocol, that arise with clients. The therapist will perform all documentation expectations as well as complete vital information for Utilization reviews in a timely manner and in accordance with state licensing (OAR’s) requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. The Therapist follows clients' progress throughout treatment processes:

a. Responsible for conducting therapy groups and individual sessions in late afternoons and evenings

b. Meets with clients on an individual basis to create service plans, revise and review service plans and perform counseling both individually and in group settings.

c. Documents individual and group progress notes in client files following each session.

d. Maintains contact with Clinical Director, Medical Director and team
regarding individuals' progress.

e. Responsible for attending and participating in mandatory weekly staff
meetings to discuss client care and all aspects of treatment.

f. Knowledge of policy and procedure manual relating to program protocol.

2. Therapist performs and maintains professional abilities in the following areas:

a. Trauma Responsive and Best Practices for SUDS clients

b. Crisis intervention—recognizing emotional stress and utilizing resources
to resolve problems.

c. Client education—provide current alcohol/drug information and available
resources to clients, groups, and families.

d. Will assess the client’s case management needs and incorporate those needs, goals and objectives in the treatment plan and utilize appropriate staff or referral sources to satisfy client’s needs.

e. The therapist will establish and maintain contact with the client’s family/significant other/support network as clinically appropriate during the client’s course of care and meet with them as needed.

f. The therapist will work with client in collaboration to create and implement a discharge plan and in discharge planning.

Continuous training in areas where needed, attendance at seminars,
continue earning CEUs and partake in supervision.

Maintain and adhere to all Federal, State, and County regulations
regarding client confidentiality and staff code of ethics.

g. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Psychology, addiction counseling, mental health and/or marriage/family therapy with the ability to become a QMHA.

2. The candidate is required to have a min. of a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counseling I certification, CADC II or III (preferred), or a SUDP, or certification relating to the chemical dependency field.

3. Preferred Masters degree with the ability to become a QMHP and also be working towards licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, LICSW).

1. Minimum of two (2) years previous experience in the addiction field.

2. Ability to prioritize and provide appropriate treatment protocols.

3. Maintains current certifications for this position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
