Program Overview : Certified Nursing Assistants, or CNAs, are healthcare professionals that can help meet the health care needs of patients.
Their scope of practice includes assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in :
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) : Personal hygiene (bathing and grooming)DressingFeedingToiletingAmbulation / repositioning
- Routine Tasks Cleaning / bed making, preparing rooms for admissionsRecording food and liquid intake / outputTaking vital signsSpecimen collectionsGathering / stocking supplies
What to Expect :
- 168 Hour program over 10 weeks
- Includes class lectures, hands-on skill labs, and clinical training
- Get paid $ during your certification training
- Tutoring for state examination
Class Start Date : January 6th through March 18th 9 : 00am - 5 : 30pm Monday through Thursday (with 3 required Fridays due to additional training)
Requirements :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma / GED
- Clean criminal background check
- Letter of Recommendation
- Health Examination (provided)
- Immunizations : Negative TB skin test, or required documentation for positive results (
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be eligible to sit for their State Certification Examination.

About the Campus : Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) / Special Treatment Programs (STPs) provide behavioral intervention to consumers with mental disorders in secure residential settings.
Services include behavior modification, skilled nursing, prevocational and life skills training, recreation and rehabilitation.
The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity. Pay Range : $ $ USD
