Job Overview
The MDS Coordinator - RN plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate completion of the MDS treatment assessment tool and reviewing care plans for compliance with our high standards of care.
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee the overall process and tracking of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to achieve optimal RUG categories.
- Integrate information from various departments, including nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services, to ensure comprehensive reimbursement.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Minimum one year of long-term care nursing experience.
