Summary
As the Wellness Director at Crestwood Assisted Living, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the wellness programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. This position is essential in fostering a culture of health and well-being within our facility, ensuring that both residents and staff thrive.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement wellness programs tailored to the needs of residents.
- Supervise staff involved in wellness initiatives and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident health and wellness to identify areas for improvement.
- Review documentation related to resident care plans and wellness activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate holistic approaches to resident care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust programs as necessary to meet individual needs.
Requirements
- LVN or RN license
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within healthcare or rehabilitation settings.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and documentation practices.
- Experience in case management or nurse management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
