Position Available: Part-Time, 1st Shift LAB TECHNICIAN. The Lab Technician is the cornerstone for supplying the various Finish Department positions with quality and accurate finish material. Helpful Background: Proven experience with teams, communication, attendance, and attention to detail. Required Background: Developed skills with mixing and making finishes, understanding timely and efficient production flow, measurement skills in liquid form with conversion application, and MSDS knowledge.
Wages: $18.00 / Hour ($16.00 Base Pay $2.00 / Regular Hour Attendance Incentive). After the 60-day Training Period, Add 1) Certification Pay 2) Production Incentive Pay. Add more Certification Pay (Up to $2.00 / hour) as new skills are obtained. Production Incentive Pay is based on specific numbers being achieved in production. Production Incentive Pay ranges from $0.75 to $3.88 / regular hour. Production Incentives are also paid for overtime hours. Additional Growth: Technical Pay with skilled positions. Lab Technician qualifies for Technical Pay.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. (1st Shift) 4 - 6 Hours Days = 24-25 Hours / Week
This is a Part-Time Only Position.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail in reading orders, choosing products, formulating mixes, and timely delivery of materials.
- Ability to quality check products and materials during the formulating process.
- Properly maintain applicable equipment to the position.
- Ability to follow and communicate in written and verbal form.
- Follow all safety requirements.
- Desire to produce quality finish materials for various positions in the Finish Department.
- Willingness to listen to and receive instruction.
- A desire to learn and retain information.
- Ability to transport up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Able to walk, stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch regularly.
- Willing to learn wood species, finishes (stains and paints), and cabinet parts.

- Understand and follow safety guidelines, including wearing company-provided protective equipment
- Provide regular and consistent attendance - be on time for the work schedule
- Contribute to the creation of quality parts as defined by company-provided quality standards
