PART-TIME CREATIVE SURFACES FABRICATOR/INSTALLER

Creative Surfaces, located in Salina, Kansas (www.creative-surfaces.com), is well known for providing quality countertops fabricated in various stone or laminate surfaces.  Creative Surfaces's designers and fabricators know how to bring a kitchen, bathroom, commercial space, or any room to life with a well-placed, custom-designed countertop.  The equipment is quite an experience to see, let alone work on each day!

Expected Characteristics for the Position: Professional Mannerisms, Safety Focused, Quality Oriented, and Reliable Attendance.

Various Job Duties Include: 
-The following experiences are great; however, Creative Surfaces provides On-the-Job Paid Training.

-Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints (in time with training) 

-Utilize various tools: table saw, planer, belt sander, chisels.

-Physical Requirements - Be able to exert (lift/push/pull) 50 to 100 pounds occasionally,  25 to 50 pounds frequently,

      and 10 to 20 pounds constantly.

-Work schedule includes plant and job site environments.

We're looking for a problem solver, a good communicator, and an organized person who can work solo or with others in a team environment.

-Granite Fabrication requires working in a wet environment. We provide boots and an apron.

WAGE PROGRAM & BENEFITS:

Wages:    Starting Wage of $18.00 / Hour  ($16.00 Base Pay $2.00 Attendance Incentive). After 60-Day Training Period: Add Certification Pay Production Incentive

Work Hours/Week:    Mondays & Tuesdays: 7:00am-11:30am & 12:00pm-4:30pm.  On Wednesdays, 7:00am - 11:30am & 12:00pm - 2:30pm.
                                    Total of 25 Hours / Week (Maximum).   *Some adjustments may be accepted.  Looking for 20-25 hours/week.*
