Works with managers and executives to learn company methods, procedures, and standards proficiently with the intention of promoting into a management role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receives training and performs duties in multiple departments such as operations, safety, marketing, pricing & analytics, sales, driver recruiting, and maintenance.
- Meets performance goals and objectives set by management.
- Participates in management training courses, leadership courses, career fairs, and any continued education as needed.
- Travels and/or relocates for additional training or assist other locations.
- Relocates to off-site locations required when a management position becomes available.
- Receives and carries out instructions.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company.
- Solves problems and makes decisions independently and proactively.
- Uses computers and software programs proficiently.
- Exhibits ability to read, write, talk and hear; add, subtract, multiply and divide; and lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. as required.
