Ensures excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing of orders, communication with customers, and coordination of operational duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Solicits outbound freight in order to manage network balance while maintaining a high level of service.
- Interacts with customers and addresses any concerns or issues.
- Forecasts potential customer needs and proactively works to address those needs.
- Responds promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
- Processes customer orders with required information to properly pickup and deliver goods.
- Schedules all loading and unloading appointments.
- Tracks all shipments while under dispatch from pickup to delivery.
- Travels as needed.
- Receives and carries out instructions.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree; or three to four years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
