Hourly rate: $15.59 or current CPS staff hourly pay rate
Crete Public Schools is seeking applications for Substitute Summer Para. The person in this position will assist Teachers during Cardinal Scholar programming and/or assist Cardinal Camp Instructors during camp sessions, this is in addition to supervising and working with students.
This is an on-call, as-needed substitute position for The Cardinal Summer programs, running from June 2nd to June 27th, with hours from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and/or 12:30 to 3:30 / 3:45 PM.
Location of Cardinal Scholar Programming:
- Students current grade level (K-1) - Elementary
- Students current grade level (2-4) - Intermediate
- Students current grade level (5-8) - Middle School
Cardinal Camps are scheduled for each afternoon of the Cardinal Summer, June 2nd-27th. There are two camps scheduled per day for 90 minutes each.
Elementary Cardinal Camp times =
- Session 1: 12:30-1:45
- Session 2: 2:00-3:30
Intermediate and Middle School Camp times =
- Session 1: 12:30-2:00
- Session 2: 2:15-3:45
The difference in start and end times allows for effective transportation.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Principal.
At-Will Position:
This position is an “at-will” position and may be terminated, with or without cause, at any time in the sole discretion of the Superintendent or Superintendent’s designee.
