Crosby Electric is looking for an experienced working foreman to manage commercial electrical construction projects in the Birmingham area. These "job runners" are responsible for managing crews of up to 10 or more in the field, ensuring that every aspect of the job, from layout to closeout, is performed safely, efficiently and of the highest quality. Project Types: Industrial, industrial maintenance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, data centers, and commercial type projects.
Pay: $35-$45 Hour Bonus Opportunities
FOREMAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Overseeing electrical installation to ensure adherence to plans/specs
· Working alongside your team in the field to maintain construction schedule
· Be able to evaluate applicants and hire on the jobsite
· Maintain and enforce safety rules and a safety first culture
· Interpreting plans and coordinating with other trades
· Implementing strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency
· Ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3 years experience as a working Forman
· 8 years of Electrical experience
· A Journeyman license is preferred but not required
· Proficient in reading plans and coordinating with other trades
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· High School degree or equivalent
· Pass background check and drug screen
· Strong leadership skills with a proven track record
