Position Overview
We’re looking for a high-impact HRIS-UKG Administrator to lead and continuously elevate our UKG Pro (UltiPro) platform. This is not just a systems role—it’s a mission-critical position on the Management Information Systems team, supporting a rapidly evolving organization where data accuracy, process efficiency, and user experience are paramount.
The ideal candidate doesn’t wait to be told what’s broken—they run toward the problem, take full ownership, and deliver solutions that uphold our operational standards. We need someone who operates with a sense of urgency, drives continuous improvement, and embraces complexity as a chance to lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Crete United’s UKG Pro platform, ensuring system integrity, performance, and seamless functionality across HR, Payroll, and IT.
- Own the UKG system roadmap, from identifying needs to developing scalable workflows and implementing custom configurations that meet business goals.
- Manage system integrations for new acquisitions, including data migration, user setup, compliance configuration, and stakeholder training.
- Take ownership of ticket resolution, enhancement requests, and technical troubleshooting with clear, timely communication.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and drive process improvements in areas like onboarding, benefits, payroll, compliance, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and training guides; lead workshops or one-on-one training sessions as needed.
- Partner closely with IT, HR, Finance, and leadership to ensure system alignment with organizational goals and maintain data governance and security standards.
- Anticipate system-related challenges before they become blockers, always maintaining a proactive, solution-first mindset.
- Track UKG releases and industry best practices, ensuring Crete leverages the full capabilities of the platform.
What Success Looks Like
- You respond quickly, follow through completely, and own every task you touch.
- You don’t walk past broken processes—you fix them.
- You speak up when standards aren’t upheld—and help raise them even higher.
- You deliver measurable impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, HR Management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as an HRIS Administrator or Manager, with hands-on experience administering UKG Pro (UltiPro).
- Proven experience implementing system enhancements, supporting M&A integrations, and improving HRIS performance across multiple business units.
- Expertise in user access control, workflow automation, system configuration, and data accuracy.
- Strong ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, translating business needs into system functionality.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- High level of discretion when handling sensitive data.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance, data privacy regulations, and HR technology trends.
Preferred
- Experience in multi-location, high-growth environments (M&A/integration experience highly valued)
- Familiarity with additional HRIS platforms like ADP, Workday, or Oracle HCM
- Knowledge of HR operations, process design, and enterprise software ecosystems
- UKG or HRIS certification a plus
