Position Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of proven experience as an Electrical PM or equivalent combination of training

and experience.

 Strong organizational, time management and verbal and written communication skills.

 OSHA 10 Certification

 Current and Valid Driver’s License in good standing.

This position requires the ability to work full‐time, Monday through Friday, 7am – 5pm, unless otherwise determined

and authorized by the President. Ability to work on‐call. occasional nights or weekends that may be required dependent

on project needs. Must have reliable transportation for frequent travel to job site visits and attend client meetings.

Telecommuting is available in the event of extenuating circumstances, such as a pandemic, upon approval from the

President.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

 Provides decisive, focused leadership and project management within the Construction Division and serves as

primary contact for the assigned project.

 Attends pre‐construction and team meetings throughout the life of the project.

 Prepares agendas, develops, and maintains scope, business requirements, performance specifications,

procurement strategy, safety plan, project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase

to ensure overall project objectives and client needs are met.

 Identifies, analyzes, and recommends corrective actionsto technical issuesidentified in the field during the project

execution and initial operation.

 Obtains all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals for projects.

 Monitors schedules and crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget parameters.

 Handles any delays, emergencies and problems that can arise on a project.

 Initiates and manages change requests, change orders and prepares monthly requisitions.

 Ensures project follows and complies with all OSHA and RELCO safety standards and proceduresin addition staying

current with all federal, state, and local government regulations and building codes.

 Works closely and collaborates with the V.P. of Project Management, Outside Field Superintendent and Foreman

to ensure all electrical work is installed and completed properly in accordance with the contract for project.

 Tracks and reports project milestones and provides status reports.

 Ensures all punch list work is completed in a timely manner and that is does not interfere with the client’s ability

to occupy the space.

 Develops and maintains effective relationships with owners, customers, design teams, contractors,

subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to help understand needs and expectations in addition to identifying new

business and potential bid opportunities.

 Presents a professional, positive image of the Company to employees, customers, industry, and community.

 Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

 Superior verbal and written communication skills in English including comprehending, listening, writing and the

ability to exchange information and strong interpersonal skills.

 Excellent organization, time‐management, problem‐solving and budgeting skills

 Broad understanding of electrical systems infrastructure, protection & distribution requirements, commercial

construction industry practices, construction contracts and budget/schedule management.

 Construction management, finance principals, and diplomacy skills.

 Good judge of character with strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and motivate.

 Ability to work independently and well under pressure to manage projects concurrently while exercising good

judgement and maintaining confidentiality.

 Strong organizational, presentation, negotiation, and documentation skills with a team‐oriented approach.

 Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage schedule and workload to meet established deadlines.

 Critical thinking, problem‐solving and planning skills.

 Consistent, excellent customer service skills with the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries

or complaints.

 Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner Conscientious and pays attention to detail,

especially regarding controlling job costs and adhering to progress schedules.

 Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other trade related software including use of everyday office equipment.

 Works in a typical office setting, with low noise levels from office equipment, voices, and frequent interruptions

with exposure to air conditioning/heat.

 High stress with frequent time restraints for deadline driven work.

 Work continuously sitting at desk on a computer in an office environment for extended periods of time.

 Frequently required to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach with hands and arms, lift, balance, carry,

push, and pull as required for light duties of standard office clerical positions.

 Ability to read, interpret and analyze blueprints, construction plans, schematic drawings.

 Frequent travel to job sites and meeting locations which includes moving around the site and standing for long

periods of time while navigating industry hazards at the job site.

 Site visits are a typical construction field setting, with constant exposure to all outdoor weather conditions. Some

work areas can have loud noise levels at times and may have dusty, dirty, hot, or wet conditions.

 Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (portable restroom).

 Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (‘PPE’), including but not limited to, hard hat and safety

glasses always; and respirator when required by OSHA or Safety Personnel.

 Ability to frequently move and/or transporting objects weighing up to 20lbs. and occasionally moving objects

weighing greater than 20 pounds
