Supervisor I Position Summary
Responsible for directing and coordinating manufacturing processes and staff to ensure production objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with customer delivery and quality requirements. This role drives continuous improvement to the methods of manufacturing and ensures a safe and procedural compliant work environment. This position will be based out of our facility located in west Bloomington, Minnesota (55438) and will be working Monday-Thursday on 2nd Shift (10 hrs Shift) .
Supervisor I Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departmentsEnsure the production schedule is attained and issues are resolved in a timely mannerMaintain quality and safety by establishing and enforcing standardsManage employee performance to include communicating and delivering annual performance goals, annual performance reviews, employee recognition, training, and development, coaching and counselingLead staff through visual metrics and tiered accountability meetingsMonitor staffing levels and partners with Human Resources on talent management initiativesEnforce company standards by following and enforcing policies and proceduresComplete special projects as neededDrive process improvements in quality, delivery, inventory, and safety proceduresEnsure work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists are used and understoodEnter production information into the ERP system on a timely basisSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard workPartner with other business segments : sales / marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and financeUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serveEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properlyParticipate in required company meetingsMaintain an organized work area (5S)Participate in the Operational Excellence ProgramOther duties as assignedQualifications :

3 years of experience leading processes and teams in a manufacturing environmentReview related manufacturing paperwork for accuracyAbility to consistently achieve short and long-term business resultsMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Teams)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to prioritize and multitaskClear and effective verbal and written communication skills; comfortable speaking in front of people / groupsAble to work independently, taking initiative, and following up on issues or concernsAbility to consistently achieve short and long-term business resultsExperience with progressive discipline.Supervisor I Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
