About the Role
The Chemical Engineer provides support to the manufacturing floor regarding chemical process development, maintenance, validation, and equipment qualification.
- Design and develop new chemical cleaning, passivation, and electropolishing processes.
- Support the maintenance of all chemical baths and equipment throughout the facility.
- Collect data to monitor process performance and make improvements or modifications.
- Recommend and specify new equipment or processes as needed for chemical processing, water treatment, and waste disposal.
Responsibilities
- Analytical testing such as FTIR, salt spray, humidity.
- Knowledgeable in state waste treatment regulations and NADCAP.
- Ability to prepare chemical solutions, standards, and use common laboratory and chemical processing equipment.
- Experience with acids and alkaline substances.
- Validation design and execution with IQ/OQ/PQ approach.
- Knowledgeable in fixture design and blueprint reading capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
