The overall purpose of the Medical Records/Central Supply position is to initiate medical charts and manage nursing supplies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of all aspects of the medical records for both active and discharged records.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Weekly ordering of nursing supplies within a budget, management of inventory, and stocking supply rooms.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of medical records experience required, preferably in long-term care.
