Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong desire to contribute to the beautification and maintenance of various landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, sprinkler maintenance/repairs, lawn care, snow plowing, and hardscaping. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Assist in tree care activities such as planting.
- Engage in snow plowing and removal during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
- Dig trenches for irrigation systems and other landscape features as needed.
- Maintain grounds by watering, fertilizing, and applying mulch to plants and flower beds.
- Operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on various landscaping projects while maintaining a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping or grounds keeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely (training will be provided).
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE IS REQUIRED.
- Bi-lingual helpful but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
