Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
Assist the Youth Staff team in planning, organizing, and implementing age-appropriate activities and events for children and teens, including arts and crafts, games, sports, themed parties, and educational workshops.
Supervise and engage with young guests in designated youth areas, ensuring their safety, well-being, and enjoyment at all times.
Collaborate with Youth Staff team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Provide exceptional customer service to children and their parents, addressing any questions, concerns, or special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in youth facilities and equipment, including activity rooms, play areas, and outdoor spaces.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as attendance tracking, inventory management, and preparation of activity materials and supplies.
Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance your skills, knowledge, and understanding of youth programming and safety protocols.
Serve as a positive role model for young guests, demonstrating enthusiasm, creativity, and respect for others in all interactions.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in education, child development, or related fields is a plus.
Experience working with children in a recreational, educational, or childcare setting, such as summer camps, daycare centers, or after-school programs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children of varying ages and personalities.
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a willingness to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
Creativity and resourcefulness in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and events for children and teens.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification upon hire).
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, particularly languages commonly spoken by our international guests.
