Crew One Productions is looking for on-call backstage professionals to support seasonal concert tours and live events at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, MO (Just outside Branson on Table Rock Lake). Without you, entertainment events would not be possible! Stagehands are the driving force that makes these shows happen. You will lend an integral hand in transforming this arena and ensuring each event is the best it can be.

Position Summary:

The Entertainment Stagehand position is a stage technician trained in the safe and timely load in and out of touring live events.

Experience:

1-5 years' experience backstage as a stagehand for live events/concerts or an adjacent field. Experience appreciated and valued, but not necessary for the right individuals.

Work Schedule:

Crew hours will vary, we do not have any set hours. Please know this is an AS Needed and ON-Call, Independent Contractor position. We would love to talk to and get to know you.

Qualifications:

• Required-High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and working vehicle required
• Basic knowledge of working live events/productions
• Solutions-based troubleshooting
• Friendly and proactive personality
• Ability to interface with clients, coworkers, and laborers to maintain a positive work environment
• Organizational skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills and customer service - communicates through various mediums such as email, text, phone call, and in-person conversations

Responsibilities, Duties, and Expectations:

• Expert troubleshooting of technical issues in an event/concert production setting
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced and high intensity environment
• Work Environment: While on-site, frequent exposure to unfavorable conditions such as all-weather, or working in cramped, very dirty, or unpleasant quarters
• This position will be on-site and need to work in hot/humid, cold/freezing, rain, and snow conditions to complete the job on a deadline
• Physical Effort: Strenuous - Physical effort represented by frequent handling of heavy objects (approx. 70 lbs)
• Standing for extended periods of time, but often kneeling, bending, pushing heavy objects up and down ramps and on and off semi-trucks etc.
• Ability to take direction and constructive criticism/mentoring in a collaborative and creative community environment

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver's license and working vehicle required. ETCP certifications/similar certification and training are helpful but should not be considered a replacement for actual experience. Forklift Operators must have a valid certification.
