Job Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Training and Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a PEX and/or GTIMS administrator.
Computer Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Security Clearance:
Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the Group level standardization and evaluation functions, as well as PEX and/or GTIMS maintenance.
- Assist OGV personnel with Group-level standardization and evaluation administrative functions IAW AFI 11-200 (SharePoint maintenance, electronic libraries, EFB, FCIF, maintain trend and AF Form 847 programs, etc.)
- Ensure the PEX/GTIMS servers have all required software patches and can operate on the Air Force computer network.
- Schedule and upgrade the PEX and/or GTIMS system software as updates become available from the vendor. These upgrades will be scheduled with the PEX and/or GTIMS vendor and shall be planned to have minimal impact on daily operations.
- Work with Wing/Group OSS Scheduling to develop procedures to utilize PEX and/or GTIMS for scheduling functions.
- Train scheduling personnel how to interface with the PEX and/or GTIMS system according to developed procedures.
- Provide periodic training sessions covering all the modules in PEX and/or GTIMS to unit personnel as required by squadron leadership.
- Compile inputs for improvements to the PEX and/or GTIMS system and provide them as required for the PEX/GTIMS Requirements Working Group.
- Test new versions of PEX/GTIMS and recommend improvements as requested.
- Interface with Wing Plans and Programs to ensure all requirements of AFIs are met, on a timeline to being accomplished or a waiver to those requirements are in place.
