Description
Responsible for overall cleanliness of the restaurant. Including both back and front of the house. Duties are rotated amongst Utilities, to include: maintaining bar area clean, dishwashing, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning counters, emptying trash cans. Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager or Supervisor.
Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager or Supervisor, the Utility is responsible for specific operations inside of a single restaurant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for setting up three compartment sink with proper chemicals and clean dishes, pots, pans, containers

Responsible for ensuring proper setup and proper chemicals are available for the Washer

Sweep and mop the floor of the kitchen, storage rooms, service line and dining room.

Clean walls of kitchen area

Wash dirty containers and swap them out for clean one

Clean and empty the BOH trash cans
-
Keep FOH trash receptacles tidy, empty trash when appropriate. May be responsible for paying attention to back storage areas, as well as the coolers and freezers.

Adhere to the policies, procedures, practices and standards set forth in the Associate Handbook
Performs other related duties, as required.
