What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinician position at CRF Behavioral Healthcare?
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Tuesday, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm
Pay Rate: $34.00 to $36.05 per hour
Education: Master's degree in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Licensure: License-eligible or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) required

As a Clinician I, you will:
- Conduct initial intake assessments for clients entering the Step Forward/CalWORKs treatment program and provide diagnosis, care coordination, and case management services
- Conduct therapeutic interventions with clients and members of their family, through individual, group, and family modalities
- Re-evaluate and update client's diagnosis and treatment plan as needed
- Coordinate services with other support systems such as schools, social service programs, Welfare-to-Work, and treatment providers
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
- Conduct effective screenings and timely crisis intervention services with clients and their families on-site, or off-site.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience conducting Behavioral Health Screenings/Psychosocial Assessments for adults experiencing mild-moderate mental health symptoms, including substance use disorders is preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
- Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
