Casa Pacifica has an opening for a Program Director in Oceanside, CA. The team includes mental health clinicians and counselors, a nursing team, employment service specialist, and peer specialists, all working in a home-like environment to help people change their lives for the better.
Hours: This is a salaried, exempt position. Must be available for on-call consultation, program coverage or crisis intervention, if needed.
Salary: $103,000 per year (Registered/Waivered) or $124,000 per year (Licensed/License-Eligible). $10,000 Incentive payable in quarterly installments during first year, beginning after 90 days.
Education: Master's degree or Doctoral degree in a mental health-related field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Licensure: Licensed in California as a LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Waivered Psychologist required

Essential Functions as a Program Director:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, to include all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, staff management, client care, and quality assurance and control.
- Management and supervision of service delivery and client care; contract compliance according to County and State; budget monitoring; employees and consultants; staff training and development; and quality control and safety procedures.
- Oversee all admissions to the program and coordinate care with other mental health providers and community resources.
- Create and maintain a collaborative and consultative culture within the program to optimize service delivery.
- Lead all staff to include full personnel management functions, including interview/hiring, training, payroll/timesheet processing, development, evaluations, and performance counseling.
- Act as a role model for client care as well as provides hands-on assistance for program staff as appropriate.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Two years of experience working with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders
- A minimum of 2 years of management/supervisory experience required
- Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong clinical skills and an ability to handle high stress and fast-paced environments
- Experience providing MediCal/Medicaid services
- A valid California drivers license in good standing and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position. In addition, proof of insurance is required prior to driving personal vehicles on company business.
- Ability to pass criminal/background clearance

Casa Pacifica is a transitional residential program that assists people with chronic mental illness and dual diagnosis to move towards recovery and independent living. The residential component of the program is 6 to 9 months.
It is a Full-Service Partnership and offers clients mental health services including psychiatric care, assistance with medication management, individual and group therapy, vocational assistance, case management, and peer support.
