Summary
We are recruiting for a dynamic Senior Buyer, IT to manage strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and procurement processes for IT-related materials, services, and equipment. This role will be responsible for optimizing IT spending across global business units, ensuring cost efficiency, and driving savings while making key supplier selection decisions. The Senior Buyer will lead RFP processes, evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate contracts, all while working closely with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives. With a focus on IT Infrastructure, Telecomms, and IT Hardware sourcing, this individual will ensure the company's procurement practices are aligned with industry standards and deliver measurable cost savings.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing project execution.
- Strategize and manage the approach to agreement renewals.
- Cross-functional RFx development, roll-out, and evaluation, including supplier selection, proposal analysis, and negotiation.
- Raise demand management considerations to ensure effective and efficient spending.
- Identify contractual needs and establish agreements that accommodate them.
- Support (and contribute to) internal stakeholder timelines and budgets.
- The primary focus is IT infrastructure, telecomms, and IT hardware sourcing, with support for software sourcing as needed.
- Approve new supplier requests and requisitions in a timely manner.
- Advise stakeholders on procurement practices, policy, and systems usage.
- Support ongoing contract management, ensuring commercial aspects are in the best possible position
- Calculate and capture savings and cost avoidances.
- Other tasks as allocated by IT Sourcing Manager.
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, IT, or related subject preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional sourcing experience and 3 years of IT purchasing experience.
- Experience leading negotiations and contract management with suppliers of all sizes.
- Experience utilizing P2P, supplier management, eSourcing, and contract management systems preferred (Ariba or similar).
