Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles.
• Load and unload products, ensuring that all items are secured for transport.
• Navigate efficiently to delivery locations using GPS or maps while adhering to traffic laws.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures when necessary.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving inventory and operating pallet jacks.
• Handle heavy lifting of packages and materials, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial driving or as a courier is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Experience in warehouse operations or moving is a plus.
• Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and other loading equipment is beneficial.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently is required.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential for this role.
